Just when we thought we were done with the latest news from the Yash Raj Camp with Shah Rukh Khan doing Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi for director Aditya Chopra, here comes word about another big one.
The banner will now unite Katrina Kaif [Images] and John Abraham [Images] for the first time.
The yet-untitled film will be directed by Kabir Khan. Khan made his feature debut with YRF's Kabul Express [Images] in 2006, starring John Abraham and Arshad Warsi [Images].
Following Dhoom in 2004, this will be John's third Yash Raj Films production.
While Katrina hasn't yet worked for the banner, this will be her second film for them. She is already committed to a film for them directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Ranbir Kapoor [Images].
The John-Kat film will go on the floors in July, and release in 2009. The rest of the cast is still being finalised.
Speaking about the story of the film, Kabir Khan says, "This is a very relevant and contemporary story, and it is very close to my heart."
