Aamir Khan who received injuries in his right thigh while shooting a stunt sequence for his upcoming movie Gajini has resumed shooting in Hyderabad.

"I had injured the adductor muscle in my right thigh. I'm recovering well and have restarted shooting with muscle supports and belts," Aamir wrote on his latest blog.

After the accident last week, the shooting was cancelled and Aamir returned to Mumbai for a few days rest. Aamir said he will be in Hyderabad till the first week of May and evinced interest in meeting his blogger friends from the city.

The actor also revealed that he has managed to rope in his cousin Mansoor Khan as producer of his next release Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, which marks the debut on his nephew Imran Khan [Images].

Aamir said he is excited about Jaane Tu as it marks the debut of not only Imran but also Abbas Tyrewala as a director. Abbas who is an established writer has written films like Munna Bhai MBBS, Maqbool, and Main Hoon Na among others and has done a great job as a director, he said.

"While I was busy with Taare Zameen Par [Images] (TZP), he was doing Jaane Tu (JT), and when I saw the completed film it was an excellent translation onto screen of the script, which for me is the most important yardstick for any filmmaker," Aamir wrote.

He continued, "I finally managed to lure Mansoor out of his hiding place. When I took over as director of TZP I needed a hands-on producer on JT so I requested Mansoor. To his credit despite his reluctance he did not hesitate to step in. I would like to think it was because of me but I suspect it was because of Nasir Sahab.

"Both Mansoor and I know that Nasir Sahab would have wanted the two of us to stand by Imran at this important juncture in his career. So Mansoor makes a return, albeit as producer," he added.
