Aap Kaa Surroor may or may not maintain its frenzied opening but fans of singer-turned-actor, Himesh Reshammiya do not care.

Ever since the film opened on June 29, the debutant actor has been inundated with congratulatory calls and bouquets. His popularity was even more evident during Himesh's chat with Rediff readers.

In the second and concluding part of the chat transcript, Himesh discloses how many caps he owns, his birthday and more.

bond asked, Hi Himesh. I wanted to ask you a question. I saw some of your songs initially but all were filled with sorrows. Initially I thought you might have chosen that subject for a particular song. But later on, you were picturising the songs with the same visual effect. So, to be frank, I stopped seein your videos. I would like to tell you one thing: it's really very easy to make someone cry and it's really very hard to make someone laugh. People come to the theaters or watch TV for timepass, and to forget their daily stress. If they get depressed by seeing some video, I don't think it would be a better option of entertainment. Hope you can understand and will not disappoint viewers like me.
Himesh Reshammiya answers, I will make people laugh in the sequel. In my forthcoming project, my outlook will be completely different.

Arunabha asked, Do you have any preference for your caps, style and colour ?
Himesh Reshammiya answers, I have 2,000 caps and I cannot choose any particular. I just pick up one.

Dhiraj asked, How and when did you start your music composition and when did u start singing? Please tell us about the way you started and the struggle you had to go through. It can b a source of inspiration.
Himesh Reshammiya answers, I started at the age of 13 and I got a break from Salman Khan [Images] in Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya. It is possible because of all you people, God and blessings of my parents.

Himesh Reshammiya answers, I am smiling now. My film is a hit. Why am I so intense? You will come to know if you watch Aap Ka Suroor. If you have not seen it, please go and watch it.

shreejiconstknp asked, You are a good singer, good actor & good music director. We heard that you are Gujarati. What are you doing to make Gujaratis proud?
Himesh Reshammiya answers, I will definetly try and do something for the Gujarati film industry in the near future. I am proud to be a Gujarati and I love the people of Gujarat.

Prathamesh asked, Sir, you are my idol. As you always say, No gain without pain and speak from your heart. Do you have any message for your fans like me? Believe me, we are 6 people sitting here waiting to ask you this! We had planned to come to cafe only for you and it can be said now it was worth!
Himesh Reshammiya answers, Same here. I am man of few words and I feel from heart. Zindagi jiyo dil se.

Himesh Reshammiya answers, Critics have always been against me. They are the one percent with the other 99 percent on my side. Though Banaras, which I did for critics bombed, I will still try to win them. Thank you for saying, my music is original.

Himesh Reshammiya answers, I can't comment on it right now.

yahoooooooo i am talking to himesh asked, Himesh, what kind of roles do you want to play in your forthcoming films?
Himesh Reshammiya answers, All kinds of roles which a good actor can perform. Uncoventional but commercial. I intend to do three films a year.

Prite asked, How do you rate yourself as an actor?
Himesh Reshammiya answers, That is for the audience to judge. I cannot comment on this.

prasantakumardash asked, Would you like to sing for Amitabh Bachchan [Images]?
Himesh Reshammiya answers, I would love to sing for Big B [Images]. I idiolise him but I don't think the audience will accept this.

RTT asked, Do the video songs picturised on you depict your real life?
Himesh Reshammiya answers, It depicts the journey of a true lover because everyone has fallen in love at least once and even lost.
