Rahul Bose has finally combined his rugby skills with films.

The actor, who was part of the national rugby team, finished his four-week film shooting of Daastan in Kashmir by coaching a group of Kashmiri boys.

"Sharing my experience on the field with the boys has been a great joy," the actor said. "Such things can only happen through good luck."

Daastan is the first Bollywood venture to be filmed in the trouble-torn capital of Srinagar [Images] after a long gap. Directed by Santosh Sivan, Daastan also stars Anupam Kher [Images] and Sarika [Images].

"It has been a wonderful experience shooting in Pahalgam. Originally, the director wanted to shoot the film in Himachal Pradesh or Europe, but Anupam Kher persuaded us to come to Kashmir," Bose revealed.

The film's shooting, which was kept under wraps by the authorities, came to light when the crew were trapped at Chandanwari due to a snowstorm last week and had to be rescued.
