Aishwarya [Images] has been a regular visitor at Cannes [Images] since 2002 when the big budget Bollywood film Devdas was screened at the festival.

This year she is there to promote Provoked which was screened on Thursday and Friday, with another screening scheduled for Monday.

Directed by Jagmohan Mundhra, Provoked is the true story of a 23-year-old Punjabi woman named Kiranjit Ahluwalia, who kills her husband after 10 years of abuse and sexual assault.

At Friday's photo-call promoting the film during Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya was present with the director Jagmohan Mundhra and Kiran Ahluwalia.
