Predicting Oscar noms

What do you think of Rang De?

The actor's prolonged recovery has kept the film industry on tenterhooks.
His illness has already delayed his shooting schedules and his hit television show Kaun Banega Crorepati 2 is currently showing reruns of old episodes.

The delay in shooting schedules of his films and commercials has already caused a loss of at least Rs 1 billion.

Bachchan's family is not willing to talk about his health, and the producers of his films are also being tight-lipped.

Some of the films Bachchan has signed are Struggler, Eklavya, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Baabul, God Tussi Great Ho, Darna Zaroori Hai [Images], Happy New Year, Sholay [Images] (the remake) and Baiju Aur Tansen.

Last week, a Mumbai newspaper reported that Bachchan would need to be hospitalised again for a hernia operation. Dr Hatolkar denies the report.
