Madhur Bhandarkar, in the news again for all the wrong reasons, is currently casting for his next film, Corporate. While Bipasha Basu [Images] and Kay Kay Menon have already been roped in, the newest entrant is Sammir Dattani [Images].

Dattani recently featured in Hriday Shetty's Pyaar Mein Twist, starring Rishi Kapoor [Images], Dimple Kapadia [Images] and Soha Ali Khan [Images].

Madhur says, 'There's something really likeable about Sammir. He could be part of a scene that has 10 other faces but he holds the camera. That's the kind of face and presence I needed for a key role in Corporate.'

He adds that having Bipasha and Kay Kay as well does not take away the importance of Sammir's role. 'Like Page 3, Corporate is a character study, an ensemble piece where you'll find every character, big or small, making an impact,' Madhur explains.

Dattani, who flew to Bangalore for the release of his new Kannada film Amrithdhare, is pleased with the way his Bollywood career is shaping up. 'Although my first film Uff... Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai did not do well, I was noticed in it, as well as in Pyaar Mein Twist. My role in Corporate gives me a chance to do something entirely different from what actors of my age group generally do.'

Dattani's Amrithdhare is already on its way to becoming a success. 'First, a hit in Kannada, then a film with one of the best directors in Hindi. I couldn't have hoped for better,' Sammir smiles.

Madhur adds, 'There are important scenes in Corporate where Sammir will get a chance to show his skills as an actor. He will be paired opposite Minissha Lamba [Images], the girl from Yahan.'
