Akshay Kumar is having quite a year.

After tasting success with Amitabh Bachchan [Images] in Vipul Shah's Waqt, the hunk has just scored this Diwali season's biggest hit with Garam Masala.

While the film continues to make audiences roll with laughter, Akshay is more than aware that the film where he plays an incorrigible playboy runs the danger of being labelled chauvinistic.

To get the ladies on his side, the actor joined in with the celebrations at a special women-only screening of the film on Thursday, in Mumbai's Fame Malad theatre.

As the gleeful faces in the photograph indicate, Akshay can't help but be a treat, for women of all ages.
