Do you want to be on the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan [Images]?

Do you want to win a jackpot of Rs 2 crore? Do you want to be as wellknown as Harshavardhan Nawathe, the first winner of Kaun Banega Crorepati, seen here with Bachchan?

Well, here's your chance.

KBC winner Harshavardhan Nawathe with Amitabh BachchanPhone lines for the second coming of Kaun Banega Crorepati will open to the public on Monday, June 6.

This time around, the show is likely to be aired on weekends instead of the first four days of the week.

Star Plus has also offered viewers the option of using the Short Message Service to enter KBC 2: You can SMS KBC to 64601/02/03/04 from your Airtel phone.

The programme guidelines clearly mention that calls must only be made from BSNL/MTNL [Get Quote] land lines. Calls made from mobile phone other than Airtel, public phone booths or office phone lines (EPBAX or any other system) will not be considered valid.

Tune in to Star Plus on June 6, 9pm, for the questions. To submit your answers, you will have to call 1904424782701/ 02/ 03/ 04 and, if your answers are correct, you will be listed as a probable contestant for KBC 2.

Potential contestants must be over 18 years old and must not have participated in KBC earlier.

Five hundred people will be selected though this procedure. A random computer selection will reduce this list to 100 people. This list will then be shortened to 10 people, who get to share the dais with Amitabh Bachchan on KBC.

It's now time for the 'fastest finger first' elimination process. The 10 contestants are asked a question and whoever answers it first gets onto the hot seat -- and has the opportunity to win the jackpot!

Like the last time, contestants can avail of four methods of help -- 50/50, phone a friend, audience poll and flip/switch.

Are you ready? Lock kiya jaye?
