Buzz on Hrithik Roshan's new film!

rediff.com Entertainment Bureau | July 19, 2004 17:30 IST

Hrithik RoshanIt appears that Hrithik Roshan has finally signed a film after Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya. And we are not talking about filmmaker father Rakesh Roshan's next venture.

The buzz is strong that Hrithik will sign Vishal Bharadwaj's Mantra. The film also features Preity Zinta.

Mantra, which is a fantasy film with loads of magic, aims to appeal to both adults and children. Based on a story idea by Shekhar Kapur, Mantra will be scripted by Bharadwaj and Abbas Tyrewala.

Meanwhile, directors like Rituparno Ghosh and Shaad Ali are reportedly in talks with the 30 year-old actor for their forthcoming ventures. Hrithik is also hearing various other scripts.

Bharadwaj's Maqbool, starring Tabu, Irrfan, Pankaj Kapur, Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri, gathered critical acclaim earlier this year.
