Cannes festival jury member Aishwarya Rai attended the premiere of Lars Von Trier's Dogville at the Palais Des Festival, in a Neeta Lulla creation.

The ravishing Rai was also part of the celebrations at a lavish Bollywood party organised by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Ravi Shankar Prasad and India's ambassador to Paris Savitri Kunad. The guests included filmmaker Shekar Kapur and actor Vivek Oberoi. Shilpa Shetty's scintillating performance of Hindi film songs from the 1990s added to the event's glamour.
