SRK to be discharged on Thursday

Shah Rukh Khan would on Thursday be discharged from his London hospital after a successful operation on his spine and will be discharged. Details of the operation were revealed in an exclusive interview to rediff.com by filmmaker Yash Johar, who flew into London to be with the actor and his wife Gauri during the operation.
"It (the operation) has been very, very successful", Johar said. "He will be discharged tomorrow and will need a month's rest."
The operation at the exclusive hospital on Monday Wellington Hospital had started at 1830 pm local time (Feb 24) and lasted for one hour.
For his recuperation, Shah Rukh will spend a few weeks in London before heading back to Mumbai.
Johar said Shah Rukh's problems started three years ago while he was performing some stunts.
"He hurt the spine near his back and that started the problems. The disc touched his nerve and that put pressure on his legs and neck.”
"When he was examined in the first week of February, the doctors said the surgery had to be done within the month."
Before flying to London Shah Rukh was working on two films - chaltey chaltey and Mein hoon na, as well as a Karan Johar film Kal ho na ho.
Film personalities who flew to London to be with Shah Rukh and his wife during the operation include Johar and his son, Karan, Aditya Chopra, Juhi Chawla and Rani Mukerjee."
