Gurinder Chadha's Bend It wins a Globe nod

The nominations for the 61st annual Golden Globe Awards are out. The Globes are often seen as a precursor to the Academy Awards.
Winning its first big international mention, Gurinder Chadha's Bend It Like Beckham won a Best Picture - Musical or Comedy nomination, along with Big Fish (5 nominations), Finding Nemo, Lost In Translation and Love Actually.
Among the Best Picture - Drama nominations are Cold Mountain (8 nominations), The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (with 5 nominations), Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (4 nominations), Mystic River (5 nominations) and Seabiscuit.
