August 14, 2003 19:11 IST
Quentin Tarantino is back with another violent drama, Kill Bill - The First Volume. According to Guardian Unlimited, this Uma Thurman-David Carradine-Lucy Liu starrer 'could be one of the most brutal films ever shown in cinemas.'
The use of excessive violence and strong language in films is new for the 40-year-old. Witness his self-styled action flicks Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown.
The plot of Kill Bill revolves around a woman who is assaulted on the day of her wedding by her husband (Bill). She wakes up after years in coma with only one goal in mind: to kill Bill.

Celebrities in Hollywood have to deal with constant invasion of their privacy.
A report on eonline.com reveals how photographer John Rutter blackmailed Hollywood beauty Cameron Diaz over a few topless photographs of the actress taken during her struggling days.
The photographer, reportedly, attempted to extort $3.3 million out of the actress. The cops, however, nabbed Rutter, after Diaz went to court seeking a restriction.
