Actor Ajay Devgan and his actress wife Kajol were blessed with a baby girl on Sunday night.

Kajol delivered the baby in the Breach Candy hospital in south Mumbai at around 2115 IST, family sources told UNI in Mumbai.

Both the mother and the child are in good health, they said.

Kajol's mother Tanuja and members of Devgan's family visited the hospital to see them.

Kajol and Ajay, who have worked together in films such as Pyar To Hona Hi Tha, Raju Chacha, Ishq and Dil Kya Kare tied the nuptial knot in 1998.

Both have a film background. While Ajay is the son of fight master Veeru Devgan, Kajol is the daughter of yesteryear's well-known actress Tanuja.
