British supermodel and actress Elizabeth Hurley has reportedly agreed to marry her millionaire Indian boyfriend Arun Nayar after he divorces his Italian wife Valentina Pedroni.

Nayar, 37, proposed to the 36-year-old Hurley on a recent trip to Mumbai to meet his parents, according to Britain's Daily Telegraph.

Hurley said yes immediately as she feels her son Damien (by Hollywood multi-millionaire producer Steve Bing) needs a father figure. Damien and Nayar have hit it off well, the report said.

Although Nayar's mother is said to be delighted with the match, his grandmother, who likes Valentina, reportedly disapproves. She and Nayar's father, Kailash, also took offence to the couple kissing in public, saying girls from decent families do not display their affections like this.

Hurley has told close friends that they will not announce their engagement until Nayar gets his divorce. She reportedly says she has found her soulmate and is cent per cent sure he is the man for her. "He [Nayar] is very serious about committing to Liz. Deep down, she is a traditional girl and never wanted things to work out as they did," her friend told the daily.

Pedroni is said to be upset that her best friend has stolen her husband. The divorce could be a lengthy affair.
