Actress and social activist Nandita Das has married ad man Somya Sen at a simple, low profile ceremony in New Delhi on Sunday, December 22.

"I am very happy after getting married," the noted actress, who won rave reviews for her performances in films like Earth, Fire and Bawandar, said.

Sen is the creative director of the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather. Das is the daughter of noted painter Jatin Das and social activist Varsha Das.

The dusky heroine who is popular with the young crowd for her sharp features and acting skills refused to divulge details about her marriage saying the matter was "too personal".
