A week after Kajol's sister Tanisha left the Rajshris' Oof Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai, featuring newcomer Samir Dattani, the film unit is still stunned by the debutante's departure.
Witnesses said there were constant arguments between Tanisha, who is yesteryear actress Tanuja's younger daughter, and director Manoj Bhatia on location in Ooty. The duo, sources said, could not see eye to eye on anything -- from clothes to the dance steps.
Matters came to such a head that the Barjatyas, who own the Rajshri banner, relieved their leading lady although it meant a loss of nearly Rs 6.5 crores for them. A replacement was found and shooting has recommenced.
The girl replacing Tanisha is 17-year-old Pooja Kanwal, daughter of television actress Anita Kanwal, not to be mistaken for Buniyaad's Anita Kanwar.
Tanisha said she has nothing to say on the matter.
Three years ago, another debutante named Kareena Kapoor walked out of Rakesh Roshan's Kaho Naa
Pyaar Hai, only to walk into J P Dutta's Refugee.
Tanisha does not have such a project yet to revive her career.
