Laloo Yadav irked by his screen image!
Adhikari Bros taken to court for making Yadav a 'laughing stock'

Anand Mohan Sahay in Patna

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Laloo Prasad Yadav is angry. He contends that the lifestyle that he and wife, Chief Minister of Bihar Rabri Devi, lead has been wrongly depicted in the new Indian television serial, Ramkhilavan (CM) And Family.

RJD has now served a legal notice to the producer Adhikari Brothers of the serial as well as SAB TV channel which is airing the serial, confirms an RJD wing leader, adding, "This is an attempt to defame Yadav by making him a laughing stock."

A senior RJD leader said the serial inspired and based on the decade-long rule of Laloo and Rabri Devi depicts them in bad light. The title role is essayed by Patna native Vineet Kumar, and the role of the brother-in-law is played by Sanjay Mishra, who also belongs to Patna.

"The producer of the new serial had selected Bihari actors to give a flavour of Bihar," confirmed a theatre artiste. The CM's wife is played by Sushmita Mukherjee (Kitty, of popular Indian serial Karamchand).
