Amar Upadhyay: Back in LOC!

Bharati Dubey

Television star import to the big screen, Amar Upadhyay made news earlier when he was dropped from J P Dutta's ambitious project LoC.

It turns out Dutta has agreed to take him back in the film.

Apparently, it has taken two months of negotiation for Upadhyay to be reinstated in the Dutta camp. The director of Border and Refugee had earlier called Dutta 'unprofessional'.

When contacted, Upadhyay said, "I am happy to be back in the film. The problem between the two of us has been sorted out. I signed the settlement papers with J P Dutta yesterday.

"J P Dutta told me what I had missed while I was absent. I am looking forward to working with him again," adds Upadhayay.

J P Dutta had filed complaints against Upadhyay, after the actor failed to attend the shooting from March 1 to March 20, despite having committed to the dates.

The actor tried to make amends, in vain.

LoC is based on the Kargil war and the characters in the film draw inspiration from real life heroes from the armed forces. It is the last of the war trilogy among Border and Refugee.
