Singer-lyricist-composer Remo Fernandes will perform a duet with Amitabh Bachchan at the International India Film Academy Awards function in Malaysia, April 6.

Says Remo, "I share the stage with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. We are doing a duet from Vipul Shah's Aankhen. It feels great to perform with an actor of his stature. I am honoured."

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal are missing from the Aankhen team. Apparently, Akshay, one of the nominees for best actor (Ajnabee) had a showdown with producer Gaurang Doshi over money.

Other rumours are that Akshay felt the entire focus of the film has been shifted to Amitabh Bachchan, which he hasn't found favour with.

Apparently, Arjun, too, is unhappy with the way his role has turned out in the film. He is now shooting for a film in South Africa.

Fardeen Khan will take a day off from shooting Jaanasheen, to attend the function. Salman Khan, who was about to board his flight for Malaysia, claimed he wasn't feeling well and returned home.

And evidently, Sunny Deol, nominated for Best Actor (Gadar -- Ek Prem Katha), hasn't even received an invitation for IIFA Awards.
