World's top 20 global outsourcing companies
Accenture has been named the world's best outsourcing provider for the fifth consecutive year in the 2012 Global Outsourcing 100 rankings by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).
"Getting selected shows these companies came out on top following a rigorous application process and unbiased competition judged by an independent panel of recognised industry leaders in outsourcing," said IAOP CEO Debi Hamill.
Average revenue for 2012 Global Outsourcing 100 providers was $1.6 billion, with a growth rate of 6 percent versus 13 percent in 2008.
Companies were judged on four critical characteristics: size and growth, customer references, organisational competencies and management capabilities.
1. Accenture
Key strength: Balanced Performance
Accenture is a multinational management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
A Fortune Global 500 company, it is also the largest consulting firm in the world.
