Evaluating the performance of universal postal service providers (USPs) in the G20 group of nations, Oxford Strategic Consulting (OSC) found that the United States Postal Service (USPS) achieved the best overall ranking among postal operators.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) scored high due to its high operating efficiency and public faith in its performance.
The benchmark examines performance over three years against three key metrics - access to vital services, resource efficiency, and performance and public trust.
Formed in 1971, USPS employs 522,144 workers and operates 212,530 vehicles. The USPS also has the distinction of being the operator of the largest civilian vehicle fleet in the world.
