The number of companies with great reputation has fallen from 16 to 6 in the last 2 years in the United States according to a Harris Interactive study. Auto and financial services industries show strong growth.
The key drivers for these reputed companies are: social responsibility, emotional appeal, financial performance, products & services, and vision and leadership.
Harris Interactive has used the Harris Reputation Quotient (RQ) to measure the reputations of the most visible companies in the US since 1999. The 2013 RQ study represents the 14th consecutive year of measuring corporate reputation in the US.

Reputation Quotient: 82.62
Amazon.com figures in 5 out of 6 reputation parameters. It tops emotional appeal, products and services.
It is the 5th consecutive year that Amazon's reputation characterised as "Great" with RQ score of over 80.
