Indian employers report positive hiring plans for third quarter in 2012. With 55 per cent of employers expecting to increase staffing levels, 2 per cent forecast a decrease and 32 per cent anticipate no change, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.

Regional comparison
Employers in all four regions – North, South, East and West anticipate an increase in staffing levels during the upcoming quarter.
When compared with the previous quarter, hiring prospects strengthen by a steep margin of 27 percentage points in the East, and the Outlook for the West improves by 2 percentage points. However, a 7 percentage point decline is reported by employers in the South.
