HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh, however, could not cast his vote as his name was missing from the list of voters at the booth where he had voted in the past.
A source familiar with the development said Parekh went to the polling centre in South Mumbai around 8.30 a.m. where he has been normally voting for decades and did not find his name in the list.
