We as Indians, have always cribbed about space, be it your apartment, your car or even your personal cubicle.

The idea of 'big' has been traced into our minds and we do look for something that is big, spacious and of course luxurious.

Come to think of it size does matter, doesn't it?

Who would not want a car which is spacious, comfortable, luxurious and just something that you can sit in forever and wouldn't want to get out of?

Takers are aplenty who would want to just stretch back, relax and try their best to get themselves transported to 'Neverland'.

We have witnessed the Dilip Chhabria-designed Innova and we have to say that the car exemplifies everything you need, but at a cost.

The complete focus of DC's design is luxury and comfort.

MKraft too, focus their attention on luxury and relaxation. MKraft developed the concept of 'Stretchback' and the concept sets the benchmark of luxury to an entirely different platform.

The name not only talks about the physical stretchback seating, but also with the psychological perceptions of the feeling of space to compliment it.

The design intentionally is a play of dynamic, unbound, speed forms that radiate out to give the perception of enhanced width and length.

MKraft has been working on this concept and has given it shape in an Innova.

The Innova, already spacious, is a seven-seater MPV which needs no introduction.

Retaining the space for five people to accommodate two, might sound like child's play. But converting the car to make it roomy, luxurious and a relaxing experience takes a lot of brainstorming and some practical ingenuity. The 'stretchback' concept applied here achieves just that - right from the design to execution.

A lot of clever touches await you inside the car.

The front partition panel houses an LCD television, a refrigerator and of course there is enough and more storage space for books, newspapers, magazines and basic things you are likely to carry or want to carry on your commute.

The addition of a satellite TV brings to you more than just news on the go.

The installation of a TV in the car opens up avenues for a lot of things.

If you think about it, you can actually plug in your X-box or your Playstations and obviously slam the artificial accelerators of gaming avenues.

So virtually you are in your zone. The high-end audio kit with the DVD player hooks into the TV which bring out those movies.

DVDs stacked up at home into your on-the-wheels-spacious living room. Now the car too is a place which can make a couch potato of you.

There are some who like to keep themselves busy with television and there are others who like to read.

The entertainment is taken care of already. For those avid readers there lies a top mounted lighting panel which has four reading spot lights along with ghosted, side-throw ambient lighting, the controls of which are situated on the panel separating the two seats.

An added feature in this car is the reverse camera. It gives the driver a clearer vision and helps him manoeuvre the big luxurious car without any hiccups into tight parking spots.

The two full recliner electronically actuated seats allow for the most luxurious travel with the bunch of gizmos to lend to a first class the experience.

Now you can read and sleep like you're used to at home or on a first class airplane seat. The seats are separated by a centre armrest and console makes for two personalised spaces for two passengers.

The centre console and armrest houses collapsible flip-down tables that provide a comfortable working platform.

This platform is sleek and comes in handy if you feel the need to write something or for that matter just want to use the laptop.

All the space and the push back seats allows you to stretch your legs and enjoy the ride. The seats too are adjusted by a touch sensitive control panel on the door of the car.

The easy-to-adjust seats just makes everything simple. The one touch movement gets you in the desired position in no time.

The use of earthy colours adds to the concept of space as the cabin appears roomier and aids in de-stressing the two lucky passengers.

After hearing all of this the question that is bound to pop in your head is whether it is affordable or not?

Well, the concept is designed with the principle of modularity to allow buying individual elements to suit your pocket and preference.

Apart from a complete package, you can buy different combination of modules and of course keep it upgrading as per the changing times, or wallet size!

The exterior of the Innova gets a neatly designed add-on body kit that retains the Innova's stance and adds some sportiness to the car, not to mention a little more elegance to the car.

The MPV gets a new look and for a price that is most affordable.

A separate music system for the driver keeps him entertained as well as you slip back, unwind in the plush leather.

In a city like Mumbai that flourishes in between the noises of everyday living, this cocoon of a car makes you forget your worries and stretchback and enjoy the journey called life.

If you own an Innova and want to get the exterior and the interior done in a budget of 4.5 lakh (Rs 450,000) or less, which of course will lead to a jumbo sized space, go ahead and pamper yourself (and the car) with customisations that suit your requirements.

Obviously the cost will vary according to your customisation and we feel that you can certainly live without the car for 20-25 days to get it the much deserved make-over.

To find out more about what you can do to your car, contact MKraft at 09833313366 and get your Innova 'MKrafted to perfection'.
