Nissan unveils refreshed Evalia; starts at Rs 8.78 lakh
Nissan India unveiled the refreshed Evalia featuring a few changes. The company launched the car at Rs 878,000 and gives a mileage of at 19.3kmpl.
Among the changes made to the earlier model, the refreshed Nissan Evalia sees the inclusion of a rear wiper and a washer.
The rims have also been upgraded from the earlier 14-inches to 15-inches and the design of the alloy wheels have also changed.

Most importantly, the new Evalia receives sliding rear windows! But the news is not completely good as Nissan have favoured a different design compared to that of the Ashok Leyland Stile.
Where the Stile’s windows pull back to open, the Evalia’s windows need to be pushed forward to open.
As a result, the window opening area is limited compared to the Stile and we’re told it takes extra effort to open them.

Moving inside, the glovebox now gets a lid, as compared to the earlier Evalia which had an open glovebox.
The second row of seats can now be specified with captain chairs.
A dedicated roof-mounted blower for the second row will be offered as a dealer level accessory.
Also, a USB port for the music system and anti-glare internal mirrors have been added.

Perhaps the most important feature in the refreshed Evalia is the sliding rear window, which should have been present since Day 1. A small portion of the window can now be slid forward.
Mechanically, the Evalia remains unchanged. The 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine continues to offer 84.8 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The ARAI-rated fuel economy stands at 19.3kmpl.
