Lamborghini set to unleash a new storm with Huracan

Lamborghini, the Italian company famous for producing some of the best sportscars in the world, plans to unleash a new beast with the launch of Huracan early next year.

Huracan, which is named after a Spanish fighting bull, has been designed as a successor to the iconic Gallardo.

It keeps the 5.2 litre V10 of the Gallardo, tuned for 610 PS (449 kW; 602 hp), and will make its auto show debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show.

It has a 202 mph (325.09 km/h) top speed and can reach 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and 0-124 mph in 9.9 seconds.

With a dry weight of 1,422kg, it enables a power-to-weight ratio of 2.33kg per horsepower.

Huracan has a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission and electronically controlled four-wheel system and electronic stability control.

The car has three drive settings: Strada, Sport, and Corsa. It also has the "Lamborghini Dynamic Steering" - variable steering ratio system and magneto-rheologic suspension damper control.

It has carbon-ceramic brakes and 12.3-inch TFT colour instrument panel.

Huracan comes with Nappa leather and Alcantara.

The car has a 12.3-inch infotainment screen atop a redesigned dashboard, which delivers a reconfigurable array of vehicle information, such as a rev counter, maps for navigation maps, and infotainment functions.
