Contrasting styles
The distinctive styles of Tata Sons Chairman Cyrus Mistry and his predecessor Ratan Tata were on display at the Tata pavilion.
When Mistry walked into the pavilion at around 10 am, he walked to the commercial vehicles segment, checking out new trucks and passenger vehicles.
Ratan Tata walked in around 11 am and headed straight for the section featuring Jaguar Land Rover, the shining jewel in the Tata Motors stables.

About two weeks after the sudden demise of Tata Motors managing director Karl Slym, his shadow loomed large at the Tata Motors pavilion.

Merchandise collectors have a lot to choose from at the Tata pavilion. Titan has come out with special collection of Nano-branded watches for men (priced at Rs 2,655) and women (Rs 1,500).
Watches branded Manza and Aria and a host of collectibles modelled on the Zest are also available.

Drawing the crowds
While most exhibitors appeared happy with the space on offer at the new venue this year, what was keeping many anxious was whether they would be able to draw crowds from other areas in the National Capital Region.
