The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona.
It is 446 km long, up to 29 km wide and attains a depth of over 6,000 feet. The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West.
The skywalk is in the middle of a battle between the Native American tribe, on whose ancestral land it was built, and the company that has spent $30 million to construct it.
The Arizona Indian tribe has wrestled control of the management and taken over the running of the site, which is estimated to see 3,000 tourists per day.
Let's take a look at the beautiful skywalk.
