Wipro Infotech on Tuesday announced its partnership with Israel-based RiT Technologies for marketing of latter's Intelligent Physical Layer Management Solutions in the country.

Under IPLMS, the firms will offer medium to large enterprises, solutions for controlling their physical network infrastructure for its maximum utilisation and physical safeguarding of data and property, Wipro Infotech said in Mumbai.

"We are already in negotiations with some of the leading database operators in the country and we see much scope for delivering our solutions and services to organisations like banks and government services which operate in mission critical networks," RiT regional sales director David Shalts said.

IPLMS solutions, which simplify asset tracking as well as trouble-shooting of failures in the network, also provide information on the status of connections at the wiring closet of the network.

The firms will be marketing an IPLMS called 'PatchView', which is developed by Tel Aviv-headquartered RiT Technologies. Wipro Infotech, one of the leading network integrators in the country, will be marketing the product through its infrastructure network.
