Two Indians in 'most influential bizmen' list

Vivek Paul, Vice Chairman of Wipro and chief executive officer of Wipro Technologies, California, and Balaji Krishnamurthy, chief executive officer of Planar Systems, Oregon, have been named among 25 most 'business influentialz' by Time magazine and CNN.

With Paul in the 'globalist category' are Li Dongsheng, Chairman of TCL, Beijing Sam Jonah, Ashanti Goldfields, Ghana, and Judy McGrath, Chairman and CEO, MTV Networks, New York.

Krishnamurthy finds place among 'innovators,' along with Sean Combs, Bad Boy Entertainment Group, New York, Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE, New York, Pony Ma, founder and CEO of Tencent Group, Hong Kong, and Sheik Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, according a list issued by Time and CNN.

"The New Breed," Time says, "sets the global standards for management, ethics, marketing and innovation". Baghdad-based banker Sinan Al-Shabibi of Central Bank of Iraq finds a place in the 'Clean-up Artists' category.

Also with him in this category are Ed Breen, CEO of Tyco, New York, Jeroen Van Der Veer, Royal Dutch Shell, London/The Hague and Serge Weinberg, Pinault-Prentemps-Redoute, Paris.

Others on the list include: money movers Mellody Hobson, Ariel Capital Management, Chicago Chuck Prince, CEO of Citigroup, New York Jamie Dimon, TK of JP Morgan Chase, New York John Thain, CEO of New York Stock Exchange, New York.
