Mentor Graphics Corporation, a US-based technology leader in electronic design automation, has planned to invest $50 million in its two subsidiaries at Hyderabad and Noida during next five years.

MGC facilities at Hyderabad and Noida are poised to become the largest outsourcing sites in its 66 locations in the world, Mentor Graphics Corporation president Gregory K Hinckley told newsmen in Hyderabad on Monday.

Both the sites in Hyderabad and Noida are state-of-the-art research and development centres for MGC and together form the largest R&D unit outside of USA and presently employ 250 engineers working on software development for EDA tools, Hinckley said.

Earlier, Srinivas Mandavilli, managing director, Mentor Graphics made a presentation on the company's global network.
