UK Visa services expand across India

February 20, 2003 17:12 IST

The British High Commission in India has introduced new improved visa application facilities and procedures for applicants of Western India from February 24 with new centres at Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune.

Similar application centres have also been opened in other cities across India as part of improved service to make UK Visa services more accessible to the customers, according to a release of the High Commission in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

The new services will make applying for a UK visa much easier for applicants from Western India for all categories of UK visas.

The now will be able to apply at any one of the visa application centres fully equipped with trained staff for quick disposal of the applications, rather than at the British Deputy High Commission in Mumbai, the release added.
