santimoy asked, i have purchase 50 share of Bajaj Hind @ 298 tell me the what i do now
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You could hold on and wait for the out come on the Governments decision on lifting the sugar export ban.
Sam asked, I believe, the upsurge in market is due to vast base of investers who have come up due to trading made convenient to be operated from your home and once it will start falling, panic selling from this vast clientale will again bring it to level of 7-8 thousand. Do you agree???
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I do not agree. The fundamental story going for India is way too strong and the market is shifting towards becoming a market of stronger and larger players like FII's and Mutual Funds, that is why I keep recommending to to invest through them also. I strongly feel the market would not touch the 7000 levels again.
Srinivas asked, Hi Pranav, I have 200 shares RNRL@18/-, 1000 shares of IFCI@8/- and 100 shares of syndicate bank@50/-. Please can you suggest to hold or sell these shares?

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, A P/E of 100 is extremely high. I would book profits and look at other opportunities.
AARORA asked, I BOUGHT 15 NOS RELIANCE iND @ 840. SHOULD I SELL IT AND BOOK A PROFIT OF AROUND 50%?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You could hold on if you have an outlook of over 1 to 2 years. In the short term you may see a market wide correction and RIL being a Index heavy weight could move south.
ksgabri asked, Kotak securities offered me a trading commission of .18% and same thing was mentioned on my form where I signed. When I got my first statement I was stunned to learn that they had charged @0.45%. I'm chasing them from last 14 days to reverse the entries but nobody is listening. Can we do something about it.
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, If you do have a photocopy of the form which said 0.18% commission then I would suggest you wirte to the company's board first with your greviance. You should get a satisfactory reply. If not SEBI is also an option.
magnumravi asked, hello mr sanghavi is this the right time for a fresher to enter the market.....do u hope that this bull run will continue till the budget
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Hello Magnumravi, when market is around 14,000 even the older players are extremely cautious. So you would need to be double sure before getting into a stock. I think our market is in a secular bull run period which should last for atleast 3 to 5 years. But timely corrections are a part of the game.
chatali asked, Good Afternoon. How are you? I have been waiting for investment to large cap Mutual Fund but still Bull Run is on. Could you suggest me what to do now? Should I wait for next 2-3 months?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You could wait for a month or so and invest at the time of correction.
Good asked, Pls suggest any stocks to buy at this moment?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I have suggested a few in my earlier replies in this chat.
rakesh asked, The present PE for the market is above 22, historically we have been around 17. Does it not mean that correction to 11000 levels is inevitable?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Historically we have always been used to P/E ratios of 10 to 12 not 17. It is only over the last year and a half that our market has accepted levels of 15 and above. We are not at 22 levels yet but getting there fast. A correction should be in the offing.
makemoney asked, i have shares of unitech @ 500 each. Should i hold this stock ?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Hold on.
KRISHNA asked, I HAVE STOCKS OF RANSUG, BALCHI &
ASHLEY. THEY ARE RUNNING AT LOW. SHOULD I HOLD THEM OR WAIT. WILL THEY RECOVER.
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I am sorry, I do not follow that stock. So will not be able to help you.
amit asked, Hi, What PE/EPS should one prefer when investing. What is the importance of PE ratio
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Any frontline scrip which is trading at a P/E ratio lesser than the Index P/E then it could be worth investing. P/E ratio is one of the fundamental criteria in valuing a scrip. The lower the better.
binu asked, how much do you think will the indexes go to after the correction due in next year??
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, If the companies keep performing the way they have been a 20 to 30% growth in the Index cannot be ruled out.
chatali asked, It's my fervent belief that I should buy mutual fund as I have no time to spare on it and also don't have an ounce of knowledge on stock dealing. Am I right or should I buy stock following this chat room?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You should invest through Mutual Funds. But you will need to study the funds and the fund manager. They are crucial before investing into MF's. Do not go on advice received from anyone. Always do your homework, however sure the tip off may be.
chitra asked, there was a sudden interest in sugar sector yesterday.do you think the trend will continue?or its just a temporary phase?will it be profitable to go short on stocks like balrampur chin and bajaj hindustan?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, As I had mentioned earlier if the ban is lifted on sugar companies for exports then they should see some interest from market players. I would not advice going short on the stocks as they have been strong performers over the past and should continue to do so.
Anil Grover asked, Pranav what do you think about Textile Sector, most of the stocks in this area are down, Arvind mills the big name is down...do u see any upsurge?

ME asked,  UR PROSPECTS ON GE SHIPPIG AFTER THE DEMERGER ! FAIR VALUE AND MARKET VALUE !
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I think the stock should do well as there seems to be no downturn in the freight rates. The other arm also should do well.
Anil Grover asked, Pranav you seem to see a correction, how much %centage it will be currently cement, IT and telecom, construction stocks look ok, do u think these will also go down on correction?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, All the Index stocks have to go down in a correction. Other stocks may go even more as in the May correction the midcaps were badly hit. But I would not rule out a 5 to 7% correction.
AB asked, Hi How is Infotech Enterprises at presnt rate of 325. Is it good arte to buy.
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, A lot of hype has been created around the stock. I would wiat and see its next few quarter results.

bankim asked, any good low price script to invest in for long term
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Look at IDFC.
abey asked, Shall we go for Cairn Energy or buy parsvnath at this level?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, One you are applying for an IPO and one is already listed. Both look good to me.
lalitarora asked, sir, what is your opinion on some technical reports about sensex touching 40000 in future.is there seriously india growth story.

Vivek asked, Sir what is ur opinion on GAIL ? Is it a long term bet
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I think it is a good bet with a long term outlook. They also have good assets like pipelines etc which should yeild benefits in the future.
mnm asked, everybody is suggesting to exit arvind mills.i have time horizon of 1 yr purchased @ 76 will it give ne profit in this time
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You should make a profit over that time frame.
Vijay asked, Shall i purchase SBI mutual fund ? would it gives gud return ?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Which one. I would need to study the fund offer document and it's investment portfolio before I recommend.

joshy asked, Mr Sanghvi What about future of Malwa Cotton & Swan Mills. Please let me know your comments. Thanks/Joshy
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I think you should hold on to both. There is a story breqing in both those stocks.
Dinyar asked, Hi Pranav is it true that no one can profit from Daily trading futures? Share Trading is like building a castle of cards one floor at a time but when it falls it destroys the whole castle. How far is techical analysis safe?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, It is not completely true but you need to be highly qualified trader to make money by trading daily. Also you must have atleast 4 to 5 wqualities required for a seasoned trader like being strict with stop losses etc. I am not a technical analyst so I cannot comment how safe it is, but I believe if the company is fundamentally strong then you can't go wrong.
Anil Grover asked, Pranav, I am never sure when to exit a stock, analysts always recomment what to buy and what to hold..but very few analyst tell what and when to exit.in the big stocks can you recommend what can be exitted...
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, If you feel the stock has run up and you have met your profit target you should exit.
chitra asked, how useful is candlestick charting in trading?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, It is just one of the methods of studying stock price and volume data. There are lots of such techinical methods like going by the 15,50 or 100 day price moving average, Fibonacchi principles and more.
Vijay asked, what is current NAV for SBI mutual fund ?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, SBI has various funds on offer. You would need to be specific. And most dailies like the Eco Times or Business Standard will have the rates.
