All the major wholesale commodity markets of the country, including bullion, will remain closed for rest of the week for Diwali and Govardhan Pooja.
The stock markets would open on Friday at 1730 hrs for two-hour of Muhurat trading to open new accounts for the Samvat year 2062. The bourses will also be closed on Monday for Id-ul-fitr and reopen on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Securities and Exchange Board of India decided to keep its office open on November 15 to facilitate the brokers to submit turnover tax.
