Toyota Kirloskar Motor is considering 1 to 2 per cent increase in prices of all its products - Toyota Innova, Corolla, Camry and Prado.

"This increase has been necessitated by several cost adjustments we had done this year across all our products. Input costs have been rising over the year and we have been accommodating them till now. However, we are now forced to pass on a portion of the increase to the customers. The exact quantum of the increase is yet to be finalised, it could be between 1 and 2 per cent of the vehicle cost," said K K Swamy, deputy managing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has sold over 44,500 vehicles this year with Toyota Innova accounting for over 36,500 units. Toyota Corolla has sold nearly 7,000 units while fully import vehicles Camry and Prado sold over 1,100 units.

Toyota Innova was launched on February 24, 2005, and since then Toyota Innova has sold over 68,500 units.

Toyota Corolla has sold over 34,100 units since its launch in 2003.

Innova's price ranges from a little over Rs 700,000 (ex-showroon), Corolla at Rs 995,000, Camry close to Rs 21 lakh (Rs 2.1 million) and Prado at Rs 39 lakh (Rs 3.9 million).
