Teledata Informatics Ltd and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (India) Pvt Ltd have signed an agreement to jointly work for the development and implementation of TDIL's Enterprise Resource Planning solution for the education industry.
"We have sought the services of DTT for developing a specific implementation methodology for our Web-based Educational Institutional Manager, apart from imparting training and implementation of the product," TDIL managing director K Padmanabhan told reporters in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The company has also roped in Sundev Info Plus to provide global marketing support to WebEIM. Sundev, headquartered in Malaysia, has a presence in over 35 countries around the world and would market the product in these countries.
Sundev is also planning to pump in Rs 1,200 crore (Rs 12 billion) for promotional activities, Bushra International Institute of Graduate Studies vice president strategic initiatives Bhavik Anajaria said.
Bushra International is a partner company of Sundev.
Teledata Informatics is a software products and services company, with verticals for marine and education industries.
WebEIM is an ERP solution for tracking and managing educational programmes and is targeted at primary and secondary institutions and universities.
