Shares of Tata Consultancy Service on Friday fell by over one per cent ahead of its second quarter results to be announced later in the day.
TCS shares ended 1.14 per cent lower at Rs 1,290.30, even after a bullish opening on the BSE. During the day, the scrip slid nearly 2 per cent.
At National Stock Exchange, the stock was down 1.32 per cent at Rs 1,290.15.

experts said the stock saw selling pressure because investors adopted a cautious approach ahead of the results.
According to Kotak Institutional Equities report, TCS is expected to lead the IT Tier-I pack with 4.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter dollar revenue growth.
In the broader market, the BSE benchmark Sensex settled at 18,682.31, down 109.62 points.
