Sony boss suffered an embarrassing moment while introducing the world's first 'ultra-HD' TV because of a computer glitch in the middle of his presentation.
Hirai had to stop his presentation in the middle after the screen went blank as he introduced the world's first TV, which uses organic light emitting diodes.
The revolutionary TV combines the world's largest OLED display with dazzling 4K resolution, including this beautiful interface screen,' he said, turning to see the screen showing a computer error.
According to the Herald Sun, Hirai continued the presentation, at a point looking back at the 56-inch display only to see the error continue.
A Sony staffer rolled the TV away as he continued, the report said. Hirai said the set was a prototype and did not announce the price or availability.
