Amazon.in launches computers and accessories store in India

ComputersAmazon.in, an affiliate of global retail giant Amazon.com, on Monday launched computers and accessories store for customers in India.

Shoppers in the country will be able to shop across 7,000 plus products from over 180 brands with the help of Amazon.in, Amazon said in a statement in Bengaluru.

It will also provide detailed product descriptions, options to shortlist products by features, customer reviews from Amazon.com, and personalised recommendations, it said.

"We are excited to launch a dedicated store for

computers and accessories, and expand selection on Amazon.in," Amazon India vice president and country manager Amit Agarwal said.

"We look forward to delighting customers across India shopping for products in these categories with broad selection, low prices, great convenience, and reliable delivery," he added.

Amazon said with several popular retailers, including Croma, Vijay Sales, Compuindia.com and Gadgetsguru using fulfillment by Amazon, customers will get additional benefits of cash on delivery, delivery tracking to the doorstep, and free returns pickup.

Amazon.in is also accessible on mobile devices allowing customers to shop anywhere.
