Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Managing Director Charles Anthony has resigned, citing personal reasons. The Tata group has appointed Mukund Rajan, Tata Teleservices (TTML) and Videsh Sanchar Nigam Director, as managing director of the telecom company.
According to sources, the directors accepted Anthony's resignation at the board meeting held on Tuesday, which was called to discuss TTML's third quarter results.
Anthony will continue to stay with the company as the relieving date is yet to be decided.
When contacted a company spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.
