Tata Indicom on Wednesday announced a single rate plan for post-paid mobile customers that allow optimum usage in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
"The plan offers total freedom to users by eliminating lock-in feature of regular tariff plans and offering complete flexibility to select and change options from a bouquet of add-on services, chief operating officer of the company for AP and Karnataka," Prabhat Pani told reporters in Hyderabad.
Further, customers can avail discounts ranging from 5 to 20 per cent depending on usage, he said.
The main benefits of the plan are single rate for local calls to any phone at Rs 1.25 per min and STD calls to any phone in India at local rates with extremely low monthly rentals, he said.
