Suzlon bags Chinese project

Asia's largest integrated wind power company, Suzlon Energy has secured a contract from China-based Guohua Xilinguole New Energy and Source Co Ltd for a wind farm project.

Suzlon informed the National Stock Exchange that the 'Guohua Inner Mongolia Huitengliang' wind farm project comprises of 40 wind turbine generators of 1.25 MW each, totalling 50 MW.

Guohua Xilinguole is a subsidiary of the China Shenhua Energy Company Ltd, which runs 5,690 MW of power plants in China.

The company has also secured a contract from South Korea's Unison Co Ltd for the 'Jeju Wind Park' project comprising 7 WTGs of 2.1 MW each, totalling 14.7 MW.
