India's economic reforms are the subject of a three-day conference at the Stanford University in the USA from June 6, with several Indian experts being among the participants.
N K Singh, Member, Planning Commission; Dr Y V Reddy, Executive Director, International Monetary Fund; I G Patel, former RBI Governor; and Suman Berry, Director General, National Council for Applied Economic Research, will discuss on subjects relating to federalism and structural reforms, economic roadmap for India and agricultural reforms.
Rural development, health sector reforms and foreign direct investment would also be discussed at the conference whose theme this year is on 'Indian economy in the coming decade: Completing reforms at the centre and states.'
Participants also include academics from Stanford and other leading US universities.
