SQL Star wins order for Rs 80 cr: BSE

Software services firm SQL Star International has bagged a contract worth Rs 80 crore (Rs 800 million) from Madhya Pradesh for e-agricultural marketing, the Bombay Stock Exchange said on Wednesday.

It said the project is aimed at providing on-line connectivity to all the 229 markets in the state.

Shares in SQL were 20 per cent higher at Rs 8.65 at the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the exchange's key index was up 0.68 per cent in late morning trading.
