From the modest beginning of a single store, the company has successfully transitioned into a very successful franchise model.
Goli Vada Pav, Mumbai-based largest quick service restaurant chain in the domestic segment, has chalked out plan to expand in North and East India.
"Company plans to open 100 stores each in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi," founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Goli Vada Pav Venkatesh Iyer said. The target had been set for next two years as the company would be moving ahead with the long drawn strategy, he added.

Iyer explained that the company would start the store in the potential area and would set it before starting a new one.
"The Goli Vada Pav had also planned to open 30-40 stores in Punjab and Kolkata in next two years," Iyer said, adding that in all 300 stores would be rolled out in the rest of the country.

Currently, the Goli Vada Pavs have close to 300 stores in more than 60 cities in 16 states.
"Our expansion is govern by the theory that why can't Vada Pav move out of Mumbai when Dominos and McDonald could move out of their country," Iyer said. He added that they had received enquiries from the cities across Odisha, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad and Kolkata.
The company would conduct the survey at its level and take the decision to open the store.

In Chhattisgarh, the Goli Vada Pav has 25 stores in Chhattisgarh and has been looking forward to open new stores in the state.
Goli Vada Pav is a Mumbai-based company with presence in 16 states. The company has close to 300 stores across India.
