Dravid new Skyline Construction ambassador

Skyline Construction & Housing Pvt Ltd, a Bangalore-based real estate developer, signed on Friday India cricket captain Rahul Dravid as its brand ambassador.

Skyline Managing Director Avinash Prabhu said the company has over seven million square feet area under construction and it would be ready for occupation in 18 months.

Besides Bangalore, the expansion plans include developing properties in other cities, including Mangalore, Mysore and Chennai and opening marketing offices in the West Asia and the US, he said.

The contract with Dravid is for one year.

Asked if the company has plans to float an initial public offering, Prabhu said it would not be in the immediate future and it may take a call on it after one-and-a-half years.
