Air Sahara has decided to operate flights to Andaman and Nicobar islands from September.
Air Sahara would be the fourth such airline to operate in this sector.
Navneet S Chawla of Janata Tours and Travels said Air Sahara would be introducing its flights in the Kolkata-Port Blair-Kolkata sector and Delhi-Port Blair-Delhi via Kolkata from September 4.
Their daily flight to Port Blair is scheduled to leave Delhi at 6.20 am and arrive at Port Blair at 11.20 am via Kolkata.
Chawla said Janata Tours and Travels, Port Blair has been appointed as the airlines special PSA for distribution of tickets to the agents at Port Blair.
Janata Tour and Travels will function as the ground handling agents of Air Sahara at Port Blair, he said.
